Update: Please see the new date for the derby!

Hi everyone,
The holidays are over and now it’s time for the real excitement of winter: Pack 415’s Pinewood Derby. Here are the pertinent details.

Tuesday, January 19th, 7-8pm will be the official weigh in at Boyd E. Smith Elementary. This is an opportunity to check the boys’ cars and do some final tuning before the event on Saturday. There is no need to attend for the entire evening, but please stop in and weigh the car if at all possible, as it will make Saturday morning run more smoothly.

Saturday, January 30th, 8am-12pm is the Pinewood Derby at the Milford First United Methodist Church. The first hour will be inspection for the cars and the races will begin promptly at 9am. Cars must be inspected by 9am to complete, so be on time!

We are looking for any adult volunteers able to help set up Friday, January 22nd at 8pm at Milford First United Methodist Church. We will also need a few volunteers the morning of the race to help coordinate. Please let Chris Hayslett ( know if you are able to help out.

Below are some links to helpful resources for building the cars:

The Pinewood Derby is Coming!
