Pinewood Derby 2018

This year, we are combining our Pinewood Derby with our annual Blue and Gold Banquet. The event will be held at the Milford First United Methodist Church on Saturday, February 24 beginning at 9am.


There will be a technical inspection of all cars at the church on Friday, February 23 from 7-9pm. Please note that all cars must be inspected to compete on Saturday. If you are unable to attend the inspection, please contact Tim McKinney at 513-295-6385 by text/call or e-mail at tmckinney.blackberry@gmail.com to make arrangements for earlier in the week.

2017 Fall Campout

Below are details for those who have signed up for this weekend’s campout. 

The theme will be Knights of the Round Table!

  • Price: $20 per person (price Includes all meals)
  • Location: Cub World, 6035 Price Rd. Loveland, Ohio 45140 (Castle)
  • Dates: Nov 18-20, 2017
  • Times: 6:30pm Friday through Sunday 11am

To solve the mystery of Caesar Creek…
Detectives of Pack 415, do you have the scout skills to solve the case. If you do we need your help. The mystery at Caesar Creek awaits you, grab your gear and setup your base. Join us on 4/21-4/22 at Caesar Creek Park. This is a total family event so siblings are welcome.
All Meals are provided for the weekend. As we get closer a detailed email will be sent about needed equipment for the weekend.

Blue and Gold RSVP – Updated

The Pack 415 Blue and Gold Banquet will be held from 2pm-4pm on February 25 at the Milford First United Methodist Church. We will be serving desserts to celebrate our Webelos crossing over ot Boy Scouts and also Scouting’s birthday. Desserts will be supplied, but we would like to get a head count to help plan for the event. Please use this sign up to indicate if your family will be attending.


Finally, if you have any old keys around the house, please bring them for a game we will be playing.


2017 Pinewood Derby Details

The 2017 Pinewood Derby will soon be upon us. Below are some details about the event and associated activities:

Friday, January 27th, 7-9pm – Track Setup and Registration (Milford First United Methodist Church): Friday night will be for track set up and car inspection/ registration. We are following a little departure this year, as all cars will be impounded Friday evening after the weigh in. If you are not able to bring your son’s car for inspection Friday night, please notify your den leader.

Saturday, January 28rd, 9am-12pm – Pinewood Derby (Milford First United Methodist Church): Racing will begin promptly at 9am, so plan to arrive between 8:30 and 8:45am. We will have activities for scouts and siblings, and the Boy Scout troop will be selling refreshments during the event.

We are working on scheduling a Tuning Night at Boyd prior to the event. Watch out for another email about that.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help out with different areas of the event:

  • Track setup and tear down
  • Food sales
  • Activities
  • Race pit crew

2017 Pinewood Derby

It’s almost time for the annual Pinewood Derby. We will be holding the event on Saturday, January 28th at the Milford First United Methodist Church at 8am. We will send out a detailed email (and also post here) with details about the pre-race weigh-in, track setup, and the event itself.

2016 Fall Campout


What:        Fall Campout (Tent camping on the air force base)
When:       Nov 18th- Nov 20th
Where:      Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
Times:       6:30pm Friday through Sunday 10am
Costs:       $20 per person (Price Includes All Meals)
  • Museum Visit (world’s largest military aviation museum)
  • Build an airplane and see who can fly the farthest, but watch out because ground gunners (friendly scouts) are trying to knock you out of the sky
  • Enjoy scout time around the camp fire

New Pack Facebook Group

Hi everyone! We are excited to start out the new year of Scouting!


We have created a new Pack Facebook Group to replace our current Facebook Page. Switching to a group will allow us to restrict access to parents so we can share pictures of the Scouts and events without privacy concerns.


Please visit the new group to send a request to join. Once approved, you will be able to post and share pictures with the rest of the parents.




2016 Spring Campout

We are camping at Camp Michaels, a 675-acre camp located in Union, Kentucky. This beautiful camp offers primitive outdoor facilities for those that love to camp.
